Town planning permits are sometimes required under different conditions, such as if your property has an overlay (i.e. heritage overlay).Extensions are a great way of improving your existing home without having to move. You may need to do an extension due to personal developments or to simply add value to your home. Either way drop in to your local council or call us and double check if you’re required to obtain a planning permit, this costs you a little time but may potentially save you a lot of heart ache later. Council will assess your application against the 20 objectives within Clause 54 of ResCode.
Clause 55
